The El Artista house, also known as Artista Cigars, is a cigar brand born in the Dominican Republic and linked to the Ramírez family, who have worked with tobacco for decades. It stands out for controlling the whole process, from growing to leaf selection. Its catalogue pairs classic vitolas such as the Robusto, Toro and Churchill with bolder lines, among them Big Papi, Pulita, Exactus and Cimarrón.
Historia
Before becoming an international brand, the El Artista name was already well known in the industry thanks to Tabacalera El Artista, a factory that produced cigars for many different brands over the years while keeping close control of the entire process. The Ramírez family does not simply roll cigars: it also grows, ferments and selects the tobacco itself. Over time the brand strengthened its own identity, presenting the cigar as a handmade piece shaped with technique, patience and personality, a vision visible in both the blends and the design of the bands.
