Espinosa
Espinosa is a Nicaraguan cigar house founded by Erik Espinosa, born in Havana, who leads it from his La Zona factory in Estelí. Its main lines include 601, Murciélago, Cubao and Laranja, whose blends appeal to aficionados.
Historia
Born in Havana, Erik Espinosa emigrated to the United States with his family when he was only three months old. His love of cigars came from his father, who worked in the tobacco industry. In 1997 he entered the trade, first in a local shop, then as an independent representative for renowned brands. In 2003 he founded Espinosa Cigars with Eddie Ortega, the platform for the Cubao, 601 and Murciélago brands. After E/O Brands was integrated into Rocky Patel, he founded Espinosa Cigars again and established his own factory, La Zona, in Estelí, Nicaragua. There he relaunched the 601 and Murciélago brands in new versions and introduced innovative blends such as Laranja and Las 6 Provincias.
