Flatbush is a premium cigar brand from the United States, owned by Gotham Cigars, a major New York retailer founded by Manny Balani. Its cigars are handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua, at Best Cigars S.A. The house offers three collections, The Doorman, Stoop 526 and Yellow Cab, available in Robusto, Toro and Churchill formats.
Historia
The brand takes its name from Flatbush, a Brooklyn neighborhood dear to its founder Manny Balani. Conversations about the cigar business, shared over rum and fine cigars, led to the creation of Gotham Cigars. When the time came to launch a proprietary brand, the name was an obvious choice: Flatbush Cigars.
Each collection draws its inspiration from everyday Brooklyn life: the doorman, the stoops of brownstone homes and the yellow cabs. These urban references shape the house's identity, which produces Nicaraguan cigars with a distinct character.
