Joya de Havana
Joya de Havana is a cigar brand whose name evokes Havana, yet its cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic. It belongs to the portfolio of Tabacalera TCS International, a company founded in 1996 by Yaniv Levy and his wife Suzanne. Its medium-strength blends cross several borders and come in a wide range of vitolas.
Historia
The house traces its origins to Tabacalera TCS International, also known as Crown David and Cuban Stock Cigar Company, founded in 1996 by Yaniv Levy and his wife Suzanne. The company began making cigars in a small Dominican factory. As the business grew, new lines emerged, and Joya de Havana was one of them.
The brand later extended its offering across many formats, from the 5-inch Robusto to the 6-inch Torpedo, along with the Gigante and Double Robusto. Its blend combines filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic, aged together for six years according to the company.
