Rafael González
Rafael González is a Cuban cigar house, produced in Havana by Habanos S.A. Its style rests on vitolas that are entirely handmade, offered in two versions, with long filler or short filler. Every format is crafted exclusively from leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río.
Historia
The brand traces its origins back to the 1930s and became a reference of Cuban production. It is credited with popularizing the Cervantes factory vitola, which was later renamed “Lonsdale” in honor of Lord Lonsdale. Each box carries an English inscription advising that the habanos be smoked within the first month after shipment from Havana, or carefully aged for about a year.
