San Pedro de Macorís
The San Pedro de Macorís house is a Dominican cigar brand released by Royal Agio Cigars (STG) from its factory in the city that gives it its name. It offers a line of affordable cigars, made both by hand and by machine, complementing the premium Balmoral range.
Historia
Royal Agio Cigars opened its own United States headquarters in 2017, after three years of distribution handled by Drew Estate. In 2018, the house launched the San Pedro de Macorís brand to strengthen its presence in the American market with more accessible cigars. Until then, Royal Agio offered only the premium Balmoral Añejo XO line, and this new range widened its audience without sacrificing quality. The name honours the Dominican city where the factory producing these cigars is located.
