Undercrown
Undercrown is a Nicaraguan cigar brand made at the La Gran Fábrica Drew Estate factory, produced by Drew Estate, a Swisher company. Its lines, from the full-bodied Maduro to limited editions, stand out for carefully crafted wrappers and blends.
Historia
The brand was born in 2011 at La Gran Fábrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua. The rollers were so devoted to the Liga Privada line that the company asked them to slow down to avoid running out of stock. They created their own cigar from similar leaves drawn from different harvests and primings, giving birth to Undercrown, the people's cigar.
The range then grew: the Shade in 2015, a collaboration with master blender Willy Herrera, the Sun Grown in 2017, and the Undercrown 10 in 2021 to mark the brand's tenth anniversary. A limited edition, the ShadyXX, was created with Paul Rosenberg, president of Shady Records, for the label's twentieth anniversary.
