History

Juan Santiago Reyes Peralta began working in the tobacco fields of Estelí as a child, then broadened his knowledge in Cuba before returning to Nicaragua to refine his own blending philosophy. In 2008 he founded his factory and launched the Flor de Mi Pueblo brand. From 2012 onwards the house was relaunched and strengthened with the arrival of Luis J. Chavarría, Juan Reyes's nephew, who took charge of the business side while the founder concentrated on creating new blends.
