History

The brand was launched in 2004 following a conversation between Keith Park and Carlito Fuente, leading to a collection of limited-production cigars handcrafted by Arturo Fuente in the Dominican Republic. The name draws on Prometheus, the Greek god of fire, and was conceived during the production of a documentary about the Fuente family. Over successive releases the range has grown with lines signed by different members of the family, among them God of Fire by Carlito, with its Cameroon wrapper and richer profile, God of Fire by Don Carlos, known for its refined balance, and the fuller-bodied Serie B.
