History
The brand was founded in 2006 by Victor Vitale, a cigar distributor in the northeastern United States and owner of Legacy Brands. Its cigars remained on the American market until 2013, when United Cigars acquired the brand. After several years out of the spotlight, La Mezcla Cubana returned in 2022 with a new blend, born from United Cigars' purchase of a batch of Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper aged for seven years. That tobacco inspired the Rothschild, handmade in Gurabo.
